Celebrating 50 Years of Friendship: Japan and Guam Strengthen Ties
The Consulate-General of Japan commemorated 50 years of enduring friendship and cooperation with Guam during a special reception held Wednesday evening at Hotel Nikko Guam. Members of the Guam Nikkei Association also participated in the event, joining dignitaries and community leaders in honoring the shared history and strong ties between Japan and Guam. The 55th Convention of Nikkei and Japanese Abroad - OCTOBER 22-24, 2014 - TOKYO, JAPAN
The 55th Convention of Nikkei and Japanese Abroad will be held October 22nd-24th, 2014 in Tokyo, Japan. The objective in holding the convention is to furnish opportunities for the Japanese descendants all over the world to provide information about their countries and to discuss among themselves ways of further strengthening ties of brotherhood and solidarity while keeping in mind the significance of cultural and personal exchanges as the main theme.
It is cordially requested that as many Nikkeis and Japanese Abroad as possible will attend this convention.
