Celebrating 50 Years of Friendship: Japan and Guam Strengthen Ties
The Consulate-General of Japan commemorated 50 years of enduring friendship and cooperation with Guam during a special reception held Wednesday evening at Hotel Nikko Guam. Members of the Guam Nikkei Association also participated in the event, joining dignitaries and community leaders in honoring the shared history and strong ties between Japan and Guam. You are cordially invited to the ‘ONLINE JAPANESE FILM FESTIVAL’ hosted by the Consulate-General of Japan in Hagatna.
Sponsored by our office, this online event is completely FREE of charge. We will be showing 2 Japanese films each month starting December until February.

【How to apply】
1. Send an email to: kohobunkacgjguam@ag.mofa.go.jp with your first and family name. Please put “Application for film festival in December” for your email subject.
2. We will reply to your email with a customized URL to access and watch the movies online.
*Application deadline is December 11, Friday at 12:00 (noon).
*Please be aware that there is a limited number of views available for each movie showing. Slots will be given on a first come, first served basis.
*You can stream the movies anytime between December 12 Saturday at 00:00 and December 25 Friday at 23:59. Once you click “Play”, you have 48 hours to watch the movie.
You are welcome to share this info with the members of your organization so that they can also apply.
